The length of time it takes to see results from counselling sessions with Give Me A Shout varies depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. Some clients may see improvements after just a few sessions, while others may require longer-term therapy.

I've had years of experience in helping people to deal with their troubles, anxiety, depression, health and generally just coping with life and everything it throws at us.

My most recent placement as a 1:1 Counsellor was at a Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation centre. Working in the Aftercare team helping people that had gone through rehab adjust to the 'new' world they find themselvess in.

I've worked for a Mental Health Charity where I was a crisis volunteer, trained to help people in severe emotional distress get to a calm, safe space.

Previously I've been a Trustee of a Health charity for well over 10 years. Where I helped people who had been diagnosed with a lifelong illness deal with and learn to live with the impact.

I've also worked for another Health Charity where I managed the service centre helping people and providing information and support for people to help them learn to cope with the illness they'd been diagnosed with.
